DBU、DBN

Organic strong bases (DBU and DBN) that can be used not only as reaction catalysts but also as solvents and cleaning agents.

DBU and DBN are organic compounds that exhibit extremely strong basicity. They have excellent compatibility with various solvents and are useful as catalysts in many organic synthesis reactions. Compared to conventional tertiary amines or inorganic basic catalysts, they can improve reaction yields and selectivity under milder conditions. They are also used as catalysts in various polymerization or crosslinking reactions. A low metal grade of DBU, PURECAT (trademark pending), is also available in the lineup.
